fantasy sports

Singapore-based app, SportsHero has announced a strategic partnership with social media giant YuuZoo to bring fantasy sports to over 118 million users across 164 countries.

In spite of the name, fantasy sports is a big and serious business. It’s so serious that some sports fans are willing to put aside allegiances to teams they’ve supported for decades and cheer for their arch rival’s star playmaker to work his magic so they get all the fantasy points they can and win their league’s money pool.

Two Australian entrepreneurs saw an opportunity to combine fantasy sports with betting and launched Moneyball, a platform that lets fans can put their coaching skills to the test by playing fantasy football for money.
