If any Australian-founded company embodies the lean startup mentality it would be WPCurve, launched in June 2013 after two other failed startup attempts.
Last year Dan Norris, cofounder of WP Curve and Black Hops Brewery, published a book called The 7 Day Startup. In a very short amount of time the practical how-to guide on how to launch a startup became an Amazon Bestseller, going on to sell over 30,000 copies across various countries including Australia, the United States, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Towards the end of 2015, Norris started thinking about turning the 7 Day Startup idea into more of its own brand – a business, per se.
With the launch of Helloify this week in Australia, it’s becoming increasingly clear that in 2015, we’re going to see a new kinds of online startups emerge.
Nothing quite beats a great piece of written or video content. There is a lot of information to sift through out there on the internet; and when it it comes to blogging in the startup space, you could literally go through every company we have covered on this site and find a blog section for their company on their websites.
