Hospitality tech company iVvy wins Global Stevie Award in 2016 International Business Awards

Event and hospitality technology company iVvy has achieved a global win, taking out the Stevie Award in the best new product or service of the year category at the 13th Annual International Business Awards.

The International Business Awards, the world’s business awards program, are open to all individuals and organisations, public and private, profit or nonprofit, with this year’s awards receiving nominations from over 60 countries and territories.

Lauren Hall, CEO and cofounder of iVvy said the Stevies are a great validation of the startup’s global relevance, importance, and innovation.

“This is a terrific accolade and we are all thrilled…as always, thanks to the team who helped shape iVvy to what it is today – a global company synonymous with innovation in the events and hospitality industry,” she said.

The Stevie Award judges handed the win to iVvy, noting that the company plays an important role as an innovative SaaS solution to tackle a common requirement and deliver measurable benefits and savings for businesses and event management companies.

The latest award comes as the sixth for the company in two years, while iVvy has also raised over $4 million in funding since launch in 2009.

These wins have positioned the company at the centre of the events industry as it aims to break down barriers and remove obstacles to give it the same level of engagement other industries enjoy.

iVvy offers event organisers a event management platform through software that takes care of ticketing, e-newsletters, accommodation, reports and surveys while also being integrated with over 50 other platforms like MYOB, MailChimp and Salesforce, to offer a complete and comprehensive service.

Each aspect of iVvy’s services are entirely cloud based, allowing people to organise local events internationally, as well as international events locally. This is an ideal platform for event organisers and hotels with meeting and conference spaces, which are the target market for iVvy, providing streamlined venue management software that offers convenience and removes obstacles.

Joining iVvy on the winner’s podium at this year’s Stevie Awards were the likes of Cisco, Vodafone for its work in the UK and Turkey, and fellow Australian company Freelancer.com, which last year announced that there were over 100,000 Australian businesses registered on its platform.
