AlwaysOn Kickstarts Aussie Startup Growth
Connecting Australia’s innovation community to investors and influencers, Silicon Valley’s leading startup network AlwaysOn is pleased to announce the first addition of AO Australia to its 2013 world tour in Sydney at Doltone House on April 11 and 12. AlwaysOn’s goal is simple—to help innovative companies accelerate the pace at which they connect with top investors, partners and customers in the Global Silicon Valley. A trade mission that will see leading Silicon Valley entrepreneurs come to Australia to meet with local businesses will also support the event.
AO Australia is bringing the best and brightest technology minds together for a two-day gathering where top executives, entrepreneurs, and venture capital investors from Australia, the United States, and other key economic regions meet to exchange ideas and do business. AO Australia is the only international event outside the US in the network’s nine event series, which works to uncover the newest and most innovative companies in mobile, digital, social, cleantech and ad technology spaces.

NSW is the official host State for this international innovation conference which will help to connect NSW to Silicon Valley.
NSW Deputy Premier and Minister for Trade and Investment Andrew Stoner said he was pleased that AlwaysOn has chosen Sydney for its first conference in Australia.
“This is a great opportunity to showcase NSW’s innovative technology, companies and people to visiting American business leaders, investors and potential partners and to make connections that can grow trade and investment with the USA, one of our priority markets,” Mr Stoner said.
