General Assembly Australia, part of a global network of campuses for individuals seeking opportunity and education in technology, business, and design has announced nominations are now open for the inaugural General Assembly Australia Tech Awards.

The Awards will recognise the most compelling Australian designers, technologist and entrepreneurs and reward them for their contribution to the growing digital community across Australia.

“It’s really exciting to be a part of such a fast growing network of innovators in Australia” said Riley Batchelor, General Manager of General Assembly Australia. “The Awards will allow General Assembly Australia to recognise homegrown talent, from developers to creatives and marketers”.

When voting opens on November 15th, every vote placed enters users in the draw to win a host of prizes, including a full scholarship to a General Assembly Front-end Web Development course or User Experience Design course in Sydney – valued at $3000.

General Assembly Australia currently operates classes, workshops and courses from its Ultimo headquarters in Sydney, alongside online classes.
