Simple, Cost Effective Ads & Startups
Video is fast becoming the best and most effective way to get your message across when it comes to a startup that sells most products and services, the ability to gain a persons attention with both sight and sound is extremely powerful, and if done correctly can deliver the message that you are trying to get across in less than 30 seconds.
You don’t have to have a massive budget to do this now either, cameras are pretty cheap to hire now and anyone with an editing program on their computer can whip something together, render the footage and boom! – You have yourself a schmick new advert for your brand.
I love what Sydney startup MuesliForMe have put out to the public with their new advertisement. They have a huge point of difference being they are a subscription cereal provider, however it is clear that this is not what they want to be known for, they are aligning themselves with the message that by eating their product you only get what you WANT to eat, and you WILL have a great day every day you eat it.
Who could forget the Dollar Shave Club gem from earlier in the year – the founder closed a million dollar funding round off the back of that one, and the internet marketing campaign by Bodyform to “facebook poster” Richard is another great example of how a company, both new and old can do something smart, witty and hilarious – but most importantly hits hard home with what they want to be known for and why you need to have their product.
