Emma leads Google’s enterprise marketing efforts, including all aspects of direct and online marketing. She has more than 10 years of experience in Australia’s information, communications and technology industry with some of the world’s largest and most recognised organisations including, Compuware and Google. What differentiates Emma is that she has also served time in the sales trenches, having held senior account executive and pre-sales roles at Compuware. Emma specialises in designing, cultivating and executing highly measurable demand generation and brand awareness activities across the marketing mix that provide long-term returns and leads.


James Thomson is the editor of Smart Company, a completely free news, information and resource site for Australia’s entrepreneurs, small and medium business owners and business managers. Most recently James was a senior editor at news and commentary website Business Spectator. Prior to that, James was editor of BRW’s Rich 200, Young Rich and Executive Rich editions. James specialises in wealthy entrepreneurs and business strategy.
