Inside Eats is part of a new type of Discount Dining!
There is a new trend coming in the deals market. A newly imported form of discreet dining rewards is now available in Australia. Fusing VIP benefits with discount dining, InsideEats.com.au is a new club style concept set to overtake tired out daily deals, and it is growing fast, this is one of three business models we have heard of like this in the last 2 weeks.
Your personal butler meets celebrity agent, InsideEats offers members access to „you must know the owner‟ discounts of up to 30% off your total bill (including drinks and alcohol) and a private concierge that chases up your reservations for you. Best of all, rewards are provided in a secret handshake manner – no coupons or vouchers are used, ever.
Restaurants are informed beforehand by InsideEats of your member status, so after your meal your insider rewards are applied automatically and discreetly to your final bill. InsideEats founder, Natalie Foo, adds:
“Gone are the days where blushed cheek diners frantically hide vouchers while treating dates, friends and family. Now everyone thinks I paid full price.”
Diners aren‟t the only one cheering for this new idea. Restaurants have also been quick to embrace this fresh concept. InsideEats offers something different to competing sites by allowing restaurants to select days and times members can book. This drives customers to their partners when they need it, whilst allowing flexibility and ensuring the restaurant is always busy.
Natalie says, “We‟ve found that restaurants who previously scoffed at the idea of discounting are really embracing us. They have praised our ability to fill their restaurant every day, and keep it full.”
InsideEats launched in March 2012. Currently, they offer Sydney restaurants and are continually adding new restaurants each week. InsideEats will expand across the country later this year, it will be interesting to see whether it will be them or Full Society that will become dominant players in the market – currently they are both pretty neck and neck.
