League of Extraordinary Women

Calling all young female entrepreneurs; on September 27th Australia’s first and largest young female entrepreneur event is being launched. The league is the first of its kind in Australia and is built around the desire to support, empower and motivate business woman across the country to be stronger, better and a force to be reckoned with worldwide.

Inspirational female Samantha Gash has been confirmed as the first guest speaker to headline the event that will take place at Little Red Pocket in Collins Street, Melbourne. Gash was the first female and the youngest person ever to complete the ‘Racing the Planets’ desert series of Ultra Marathons.

With over 90% of tickets sold, the event is looking to be a sell-out. The event will feature speakers from different business backgrounds and will give female entrepreneurs the opportunity to listen and learn from some of Australia’s most successful business women.

The League of Extraordinary Women is the brain child of three successful businesswomen, Liz Atkinson, Sheryl Thai and Sarah Riegelhuth. As three ambitious, successful females, they found it difficult to find events and places that females could come together and get the support and advice that they needed.

With that, the League of Extraordinary Women was born. Its mission; to allow successful business women to network with like minded others to provide a wealth of knowledge, mutual understanding and continual education to help all members become extraordinarily successful entrepreneurs. The first event being held in September will not only give young female entrepreneurs support, it aims to provide an environment ideal for creating strong relationships that will be mutually beneficial in the business world.

Can three women make a difference in the world of business in Australia? The League of Extraordinary Women is taking the first steps to make this possible.
