Startup LoveBook reaches $1.4 million in Revenue

Chris Sonjeow is one of  the co-founders of a startup that most people thought would fail. A startup that is so simple in theory that it turns out to be one of those “why didn’t I think of that” businesses.

“I developed the website At LoveBook we created a web application that allows users to create a book that lists all the reasons why you love someone. Each page lists a single reason and is accompanied by a cute, stick figure illustration” says Sonjeow.

It took their team of 4 about a year in development. This is where the story gets good. “We all had excellent careers. We all had very good jobs as engineers and marketing directors at a growing company…but we thought of this idea and decided it was too good to pass. We spend the next year heading to any wifi enabled bar or restaurant with our laptops creating the LoveBookOnline system. We did it! About a year ago we launched our full release. We’ve been on the Today Show, G ood Morning America, Diggnation and just recently CNN”.

Considering they just passed the $1.4M mark in revenue. Those who said it wouldn’t work have well and truely been proved wrong.
